On 25 April, we held our first Mozart programme at the National Library of Georgia in the heart of Tbilisi. The evening brought together the elegance of classical music, the soft glow of candles and the refined atmosphere of one of the city’s most remarkable cultural spaces. The concert was sold out, making this first Mozart evening at the National Library especially meaningful for us.
The concert, W.A. Mozart. Little Night Serenade by Candlelight, was performed by Mystery Ensemble. At the centre of the evening was Mozart’s famous Little Night Serenade — music that seems instantly familiar, yet still feels fresh in a live chamber performance. In the candlelit hall, its lightness, clarity and inner rhythm gained a special warmth.
For us, this first Mozart concert at the National Library of Georgia became more than a classical evening by candlelight. It was a meeting between heritage and atmosphere, between the architecture of Tbilisi and the musical world of Vienna, between familiar masterpieces and a contemporary voice — shared with a full hall.
